Zephyr was tired. He was the only light male he'd seen for ages and ages. The male put his head down to the grassy earth, and took a long whiff. He was awhile from the light boarder, but he thought, with a good pace, and no dawdling, he could get there by dawn. Zephyr's white crown lifted into the jet-painted sky, for a nice and long howl.
After his howl, he noticed some bunny tracks. His head went down to the earth immediatly, and he lowered his frame to the geo below. In crouching postition, Zephyr stalked to where the silent creature stood, it's little pounding heart in his mind. He snuck apon it, untill he was so close to it's tail, he could pull it off, and pouced. He was airborne for a moment, untill the rabbit squealed and his glee was over. He would eat well tonight. Zephyr lowered his head to the carcass, and watched as the heart stopped flowing, and the body went limp. He snacked apon the rabbit and lay down, contented.
Zephyr stood, he was ready to confront some lights. He loped towards the distant boarder, and howled as he went. Soon he was at the edge, and he dared not to cross, yet. He let a low howl erupt from his maw and waited.

Diacus’ mood had settled into contentment. Though that meant that he was easily swayed to be happy or displeased. And the sound of a howl was the best thing to put him back in cheer. He trotted to the one who had howled with much excitement as it sounded burly and would perhaps belong to that of a male, which the pack was devoid of besides their alpha. His hypothesis was right and he was met with a large wolf who was awaiting his arrival beside the borders. Diacus did his usual once over and concluded that this wolf would indeed have a spot in the ranks if he proved he could do something with himself. Though one thing did sway Diacus’ mood downward. This wolf had the scent of blood over him. It was that of a prey animal though still it was not flattering in Diacus’s mind. The blood was fresh and he assumed if this wolf was trying to make a good impression the kill was nearby as a gift to the pack. His dull yellow eyes say nothing and Diacus was not pleased. “I’ve seen you’ve had a good meal.” he said finally as he fully approached the wolf. His tail and head high in a dominance posture, since this was another male and, to Diacus, warranting a lecture of joining dos and don’t. “At least you didn’t hunt on my lands.” he mumbled. “I see you’ve got the spirit of a hunter. I am Alpha Diacus, and may be willing to allow you a spot in my pack.” His uses of the possessives “my” and “your” were subconscious to Diacus. He wouldn’t say that he was intimidated by this wolf, but perhaps the poor empathetic pup was.

The brute saw the alpha coming. He bowed his head down, making his large form smaller than the alpha's to show he respected those above him. Zephyr could sense the other's slight anger, and tucked his tail slightly under him. "Alpha Diacus. Hello I am Zephyr." Replied the other brute, as he stood before the alpha, who seemed to despise him already. He shifted his weight and sighed deeply. "I would mcuh, much, much appreaciate it if you'd allow me into your pack, Alpha Diacus."[/b] He told him, quite slowly. Zephyr was a rather large form, and he wasen't scared of the other, merely he was, oh.. He didn't know.[/color]
