Snowdrift wandered across the lands, her white paws pushing her to move, faster. She was at aquafina, and was headed to the light's terra. She yawned, a little, but loud yawn. She continued loping towards the boarder, wanting to work as a pack, atlast.
The truth was that Snowdrift had tryed to become the light's aplha, but failed, so she decided that she'd put that behind her, and use her will power to help the new alpha's pack. She growled lightly, and kept running, her pace slowed down a bit as she sweated and sweated. Soon she had reached the edge of the boarder.
Snowdrift wanted to make a good first impression on the alpha of this new pack. She didn't want to hold anything against him or her just because they were the leader, and she was not. She wasen't that shallow. She sniffed ay the boarder, wondering if someone would come.

It was night. Diacus wanted to sleep. His scout was elsewhere, and he was the closest to the wolf at the borders. Only fair he should go check them out. The grey furred wolf came out of the trees with a bit of foliage in his fur. He didn’t look funny. No, he looked a bit deranged and unsettled from his dream, but calmer that before. Calmer, but not any happier. Just like the other one, he was sure to give this one a mini lecture before giving out one of his famous tests. He glanced over the wolf. Another female. He needed worry about pack growth, but he wasn’t going to be the one aiding in that until one of these wolfesses proved that they loved him. Pups and love were the same connotations in his mind, and he wasn’t one to get mates just because it looked good politically or because they were the prettiest or the strongest. He needed other males in the pack so he wouldn’t have to worry about that. He was sure if breeding season came along and all these crazy females were in estrus and fighting for posterity, he was going to slip away until the madness was done. … or maybe not... for the sake of the pack.
Diacus was appauled by his thoughts and he shook his head in disgust before looking at the wolf. “Welcome to Kaika Akegata Packlands. I am Alpha Diacus. If you want to join, give me your name, skills you are good at, and if you want to be a scout, hunter, or defender.” He sounded bored as he condensed his joining process to hopefully in a couple minutes. It didn’t even cross him that this female was nearly all white, and almost the perfect match for that poor wolfess in his past... “If you don’t wish to join, then good day and goodbye.”

Snowdrift waited for awhile, and soon heard paws treading towards her. She was going to turn around and leave, but stopped red-handed when the grey brute, and alpha, stopped towards her. She looked up, her brown eyes gazing in the face of another light. She lowered her head, almost a bow, and let some vocals escape.
"Hello, Diacus." The greeting came out of Snowdrift's maw, as she gazed at the alpha. "I am Snowdrift, I am a talented hunter, and fairly strong at defence." She stated, and lowered her crown once more. Her Ivory coat looked out of place with the greens of spring. The fae casted Diacus a sideways glance, She feared brutes, but mostly the darks. Snowdrift relaxed, but stayed on gaurd for any sudden movements. But soon she drifted into the past, when she closed her eyes.
Snowdrift had been walking for a couple of hours, and had just returned to her den after her hunting trip with her brother, Snowy Paws. Something seemed tense around the house but she couldn't figure out what..yet.. Snowy Paws ran ahead of her, feeling the tension aswell. Soon, he was out of sight, and all was silent, so she did the biggest mistake of her life, and followed. When she walked into the cave, she saw a grey bodice laying on the ground, blood puddles by her body. And then she saw her brother, his Ivory coat matted with blood, and the last figure, a Black wolf, who had emurged from the shadows. "We had a little... accident." Spoke Ebone, her father. Ebone walked towards her, his teeth glowing red, and he snarled. "But hey princess, we all make mistakes." He lunged at her.
Snowdrift had opened her eyes, and was now shaking, her little frame was vibrating so fast, she looked like a stalled motor. Shakily she tried to speak, but all that came out was a horrifed squeak. She lowered her head, dizziness took over as she swayed lightly on the spot.

Diacus was pleased when he was met with in a humble manner. The bow seemed to make him feel better, though it was customary and required for good first impressions. It had done its job, and Diacus listened to the wolfess’ words. She was a talented hunter and fairly strong at defense. Diacus didn’t think she had the look of a defender. A defender had an air of pride, a look of a guard, and of course the skills. To Diacus, she didn’t have the first two, but the first could have been sacrificed to come off as pleasant toward the alpha. Her eyes did not have the look of a guard though. Diacus seemed to catch something in them, but he was not the wolf to take these hints as anything more than the pretty eyes of a female. Dawn had had them, and he assumed the alluring eyes were just a trait that the females had. It wasn’t something you could really draw too much information on. The skills could be determined in the test he would give out. A few tests were based on skills both classes used and could separate the hunters from the guards easily.
Diacus shook out the foliage in his fur as his frown turned into a pleased smile. So far this wolf was putting Diacus in a good mood. She had played her cards right and would reap the benefits of it. Muzzle opening to offer Snowdrift an opportunity to become Delta, it remained in limbo as the wolfess’ body began to quiver. The alpha furrowed his brow as yet again he was met with another crazy wolf. His paws even receded his form a few steps from the wolf in an instinctual way. Either she was cold, diseased, or was having some sort of psychosomatic pain. Then her lips formed into a grimace, trying to say words but only a pitiful whimper came. The short, brief sound shot through Diacus and something clicked slightly in his head. The memories returned, he looked at the pure furred wolfess in horror, and suddenly he was a pup again. As she swayed he rushed forward to keep her up. He was trembling slightly himself, but it was only noticeable if you felt it. He was saving the angel again from a bloodthirsty demoness. He wasn’t weak, and he’d show everyone that by saving the weak. A strong jolt of compassion had broken through his reserved attitude on the pain filled world, and this was heard in his soft, childlike words: “I… I gotcha…”

Time seemed to slow down, heart thumping against her chest, Snowdrift opened her eyes, seeing Diacus. She looked up and immediatly felt embarresed. "I-I'm sorry, now you think I'm a phyco." She benty her neck down, feeling almost..ashamed... She looked up again, her thoughts didn't go to her father, and the dreadfull night that she had. Her brother, her closested guy-friend. Snowy Paw. Instead of her father, pup hood came into memory.
"Come on Snowdrift, you know you can catch me!" Snowy Paw's playfull voice rang out as his little sister galloped behind him. She gasped for breath behind him. "But Snowy-e! Your so fast!" She said, holding the y in a whiny tone. "You can do it sweets" He whispered and loped faster. Snowdrift looked up, her slim bodice geared up. She was running, faster, fater, till she was at her brother's tail. Snowdrift pounced on Snowy Paws, noccking him over. "I knew you could, you'll be a great wolfess and hunter one day!" Snowy Paws laughed as his siter rolled over, her tongue lolling out of her mouth.[/sup]

Ooc: Hey Iffy, could you add a bit more variety in your posts? You don’t always have to have flashbacks. Thoughts could also be opinions that let us know about your character, like their motives and such. You could also write in things that sort of explain your view on your character (though vaguely). Like when I talk about Dia thinking that he’s just being a good teacher when he’s really just being a perfectionist.
The male was relieved at her reply and a proud smile came on his face. He had saved the wolf from harm and now there was a little less pain in the world. He nuzzled her reassuringly as she was flushed with embarrassment. “It’s all right…” Everything was fine, except for the wolfess’ scent. It didn’t match the one he had remembered. Her pelt matched, but the scent didn’t. Maybe it was because blood was on her before? No… he scent would have been the same. What was he doing? Diacus stepped away from Snowdrift and stared at her. He had been a touchy feely wolf, as a pup, but had always been denied closeness. His random nuzzle surprised him, but t felt good to do. But he felt ashamed of it and cleared his throat. So much for being a pup. He would have become even more paranoid if he still thought he was in the past, awaiting a swipe from mother. As an adult he still awaited that slap, but in a metaphorical way. It still felt awkward and… “weak” to touch a wolf in a friendly way. His eyes looked toward the ground and for a moment he was at a loss of words.

ooc; okay, sorry.. lol. {i'll try}
Snowdrift looked up, and saw Diacus, he looked flustered, to her that is. The fae took a small step backwards, she was so close to a brute, she haden't since her brother died. and her dad went...well he went insane. She watched as he gazed at the ground, seeming like he couldn't think of anything to say and well, neither could she. Snowdrift had always been the wolf that could do anything she really put her mind to. Snowdrift had learned how to hunt at a very early age. She owed all her self-courage to Snowy Paws. For a second, the wolf's mind drew a blank, and she seemed as though she was in a coma, never to awake from her self shell, untill she shook her head. She remembered the aplha infront of her. Jeeze, he must think she is insane, just like her father, she spoke alas. "Please, do not think of me as an insane freakshow..." Wow that sounded cheesy, Snowdrift thought furiously to herself. 'Man, I really need to try to act more... more proper like moma, she was well mannered, well orginized. "I'm sorry, I just.." She sighed.[/sup]

Ooc: I have no clue what I'm going to do with this post. From what I see this thread is going in circles and going nowhere. I'll let Snowdrift in as a new member and we'll just say their first encounter was business. Please give me a bit more variety in your posts. Please. It's driving me even more insane.
