Murder is a precious Art. To Asianna it was. It was a delicate and beautiful dance to kill. A colorful, fantastical artshow was the spray of her victom's blood. Their howls of pain in her peaceful melody, her sweet lullabye. The taste of their flesh between her jaws a delicacey not even the best chef could brew up. Everything about killing made her feel alive and pampered. It could also send her into the throws of a Bloodlust fit...Not the type of fit where her body thrashed around wildly, but rather she became the perfect hunter, the perfect weapon against everything in the world. She would be thrown into the thrashes of a killing spree with her sanity hiding in the darkest corner of her sub-conscious...It made her stomach both twist with anxiety and excitement.
Asianna was crouched in the long grass of the Mao Koy glade, a few meters from the almost invisible shadow of the large, central oak. The stars were bright overhead, glowing and pulsing with their own pulse, while the moon's pock-marked face gazed down on the peaceful glade like a mother wolf watching her children. Asianna's body rippled as she pushed her head into moonlight, arching and curving her back like a cat beneath a human hand. She gave a few soft yips to her caretaker before turning and trotting into the longer grass farther from the 'protective' branches of the tree. She paused mid-stride with her auds cocked, then moving about, then standstill oncemore. smoothly her crimson body, dappled with night shadows, slipped closer to the ground, dissapearing into a sea of soft, light green, baby grass. Her ebony claws gripped the soil with the tension that filled her body. Her heartbeat began to speed up and everything but the noise she focused on faded away. She had found a doe and her fawn...
The scent of the fawn's new skin mixed with the dried sweat from doe made Asianna intoxicated, like having a martini before a shot of vodka. Her jaws were salivating, and adrenaline was pumping through her veins in an overdose amount. She shuffled forward on silent paws, not too fast to make the grass that drifted around seem predatory, but slow enough to make it seem like some unfelt breeze toyed with their tips. She was 50 meters away...40...30...now she paused. It was the perfect place to give chase, the doe and fawn had no where to run. She could easily take the fawn, but if she took the doe then she could catch the fawn at her leisure...This would be great fun...The alphess paused and readied herself for the spring into the run that would bring her her prey. She would eat well tonight. Murder is a precious Art.
Not too great...first post in a really long time =D

Inferno prowled the land, seeing a fellow wolf, he took a step towards her, his sly eyes following the other's. She was hunting two deer, a good catch if caught. He saw a big boulder, which would be a perfect place to perch, and pounced onto it, his powerfull leg's flexing as he reached the flat face of the solid rock and sat apon it, watching the fae. Inferno lifted a paw off the rock and let a soft howl drift in the air.

Such an art of determination was utilized each and every day since it began. Life. The art of perseverance was that of living from sunrise to sunset. With the powerful strokes of nature and the delicate touches of freewill the beauty of simple existence was an art to last forever. However you were born and raised with all the teachings of what you must do in order to survive, and you had to have chosen to learn these things or you were just another predator’s snack. To live life, you must be steadfast. You must decide to breathe and walk each day. You must decide to rest and eat. Diacus had prepared himself for hunting. Night was an appropriate time as most took the opportunity to rest from the day’s struggles. And as a lone wolf currently, it was a way to try to evade other hunters by doing his own foraging in the light of the moon. With scents moist from the entrance of spring, thawing abundance was soon sprouting around before him. The scurry of a shrew would catch his ears and make eyes dart in the direction, but putting effort in such a small prize would have too much of an opportunity cost. To continue onward… in search of the prize at the end.
The presences of creatures were brought to Diacus’ awareness. A decent sized prey was near with scents lightly drifting into the wolf’s nose. They weren’t too far and he could see the two in meadow. It was a fawn with its mother on the lookout just above her. Any other deer sounded too distant to aid the two. A mother and child. A victim would be chosen and the “light” Diacus would slaughter it. But he held respect for his next meal. There were in this collage of life also. However, the following would determined either’s lasting beauty. Diacus began to stalk. Chose your goal… Eyeing them, he chose to go after the doe. A tough goal indeed. Set the course… The meadow was wide and would make an obstacle free run. He would have to plan a risky ambush maneuver. Otherwise he would chase the doe forever and be too tired to bring it down. Diacus was slightly upwind at the moment and he saw the doe become uneasy. He would need to reposition himself and wait until a good sprint could aim him a spot on her flank.Stay the course… never back down. Hunts never went as smoothly as he wanted them too, especially alone, but there were always good chances. As long as he was determined, there was a good chance.

With a sudden surge, Asianna rippled to life, her muscles pumping, her claws digging into the soil in her effort to maintain tranction while she sprinted toward the doe and fawn. A second after she had broken cover the deer had leapt into action, her fawn moving just a millisecond after her. They were still too slow to get away. Deers are fast, but a wolf putting her soul into the hunt could have passed the doe easy...well, sorta. Unknowingly Asianna drove the mother and son toward the other two wolves, they could jump out and help her bring the creature down. Or they could sit on their ass and watch her make the kill...then get killed trying to steal her food. She didn't know, and if she did, she wouldn't give a damn either way. With one flying leap she threw herself at the adult, sliding off her backend and to the right before she even made contact. Her nails dug into the warm flesh and her back feet scrambled for something to help heave her upward. Her teeth scarred the hide again and again in an effort to get a good hold. One canine managed to dig in and for a moment it was enough, until the skin began to split like a seam.
Right about now was when one of the others coul pop-out and help, but she was still unaware of them. She should have smelled the light brute by now if her nose hadn't been so filled with deer's fear and her own hungery ambitions. One of her back paws swiped at the deer's leg, one sharp ended claw slicing a thin ribbon of crimson. She faultered, from exhaustion and from her new leg wound. She began to slow, to tire...if only she wasn't doing this alone...For a second it all stopped, the world, as she heard Alabaster cawing somewhere, then the entire flock taking up the meaningless chant, almost cheering. With her kill came their food... Triumph filled her even as she was sliding off, scrambling to not slip beneath those tiny, light hooves that pounded the light green grass...the doe was tiring...she would have her...hopefully... Inferno's nostril's filled with the sweet smell of blood. He worked his way closer to the fae, but not to steal food, he sensed she was of his own kind, a dark. He sensed a lighter presence in the forest, so he made his way to a bush, and watched. He saw another brute, barely, in the undegrowth. He snarled, his senses telling him he was light or neautrul, but not of his own kind. He waited, for one of the two wolves to approch him, but he didn't dare to come out of his hiding spot. Inferno lifted a front paw and howled proudly, cheering Asianna on, he loved to watch a hunt take place. The smell of blood was his favourite.

Surprise took the wolf and left Diacus only to raise a brow. He was still poised in stalk mode, but a bit jumpy at the sight of the other wolf going for the two. Still, as he watched indecisively, he was very impressed at the passion she put into the hunt. Life was an art. And as an element of it, so was hunting, and Diacus watching an elaborate symphony take place. But it was time to play his part. Stay the course. The deer was being drawn to him (and another he was unaware of). Diacus had come for a meal, and he knew the only way a wolf would share is only if another had proved their worth to feast And indeed, it appeared that the wolf was having a bit of a struggle. The doe was near, and Diacus’ muscles concentrated. Leave your mark! He sprung from his hidden spot and pounced on the doe. Fangs welcoming kisses of death and claws bidding clutches for goodbyes. This was what he was designed for, and light or dark, he would take part in it. His jaws embraced the taste of flesh, and the last bit of predatory excitement kicked in. Strong willed muscles weighted themselves, and now two large wolves were on this doe. Scents filled his nose and his instinct was in over drive. There was another wolf nearby and Diacus seemed sure that the kill would be secured. Still, he put his all and in anything, and this creature would soon succumb to it.

The other brute that leaped from the weeds and onto her prey did so with some skill. He was competent. With him on the doe, helping to drag it down, she could do things her way. Without thinking she pulled her body closer to the deer's, then pushed herself off, hard. Her crimson body was flung into the air, and her paws scrambled wildly, like she was trying to fly. In reality, she was trying to get her paws beneath her and ready to land running. Her right paws hit first and she was off-balance, forcing her to roll over before she could spring up and begin the chase again. Pink tongue lolled out the side of her mouth while she sucked in large quantities of air, formerly deprived when her jaws had been clamped onto the bloody hide. The deer was slowing, small injuries in many places, plus a heavy male wolf trying to drag her down. By now the fawn was in a panic, darting ahead in fear and then retreating to try to cheer her mother on. As soon as the mother was down, Asianna would have to make a sprint after the young one, if a heart attack didn't get her first. She would eat well...and whoever the brute was, would too.
Asianna was tired, panting hard in her effort to outrun the doe and her passanger, but she managed to. She was on the opposite side of the deer that the male was hanging off of, the fawn being forced to veer several feet away and slightly ahead, eyes rolling in terror of being slaughtered. She snapped at him, then made herself surge forward, muscles screaming in agony even as she flung herself once more onto the deer, this time at the killing post. Almost cat-like, her front paws scrambled around the deer's slender neck, like a child's hands around the throat of her mother. Viciously her head swung toward the jugular, with delicacy her ivories framed the bump wrapped in short, tan fur. And with hunger she bit threw the flesh and pulled outward, killing the deer without pain, its hooves stumbling, tripping, sending it sprawling, rolling twice with Asianna still latched on. For a second she stayed with her paw trapped under the mountain of meat, but then ripped it free, swallowed her flooded mouthful of blood, and struggled to her feet. Her head spun from the brutal fall and one of the deer's hooves had managed to clip her shoulder, drawing a thin stream of blood. It took a couple seconds to get herself under control, then she was searching the meadow for the fawn. It stood trembling several yards away, then it was running, scared for its own life when the bloody wolf looked at it. Asianna couldn't muster the strength to run after it.
Instead she searched around for the other brute, hoping he'd been crushed beneath the body and kicked by the hooves so that she could eat her damn meal in peace. Her maw lowered to the carcass, still warm from life, a hoof twitched as the heart finished it's pumping and the acids went placid. Or mayb e the deer had survived. Asianna hopped over the body and slipped her nose between the back legs, ripping at the tender skin there. It split easily, blood gushing forth, filling her mouth faster than she could swallow. And then her mind was lost to insanity. She plunged her snout into the body and began pulling organs out, chomping on them in a frenzied way, then spitting them aside to push herself back into bloody cavern. Her head became coated with blood, it seeped into the ground at her paws and stained their creamy whiteness red. Bloodlust was upon her.

Inferno sprang out of his hiding spot, smelling the light, and growled he looked towards Diacus. He was still unoticed by the other two. He watched as the light interfeared with the fae's prey, he could sense her rage at that, for he would be pissed if his prey was taken on by a light. The brute stumbled into the open and snarled at the light, he wondered if they'd notice him now, he howled...

It would not be long now until the doe would fall. Diacus had his jaws locked and his heart pumping strong blood through his body. A meal would be a nice welcoming gift to this new, plentiful land. However, it might become a dinner for one when he saw the wolfess fly in the air strangely. They had both had a good hold on the doe, and he thought her retreat was odd. Hopefully he could end the hunt in victory even with her departing. Diacus was taking a few bumps and scraps in the run, but that was commonplace. Forepaws trying to aid in weakening his prey, his claws pressed against the does’ flesh attempting to drag her down. Then he noticed the wolfess return on the other side and aim for a death bite. It landed and the life vein ruptured, draining the doe and making her plummet to earth. She began to loose footing and her hooves were flying everywhere even grazing his leg slightly. Diacus’ jaws released its grip and even he tripped when he rolled from the fallen deer. Chance had been with him, and it seemed he’d leave this hunt without injury.
Panting heavily, he eyed the meal coaxing him to take his prize and licked his muzzle hungrily. He came to the doe rather quickly and eyed the wolfess on the other side gorging herself. It was something he learned about equal portions that made him almost as ravenous as she. But even his hungry mouth couldn’t rip and tear as effectively as her. In fact, he would say that she most practice ripping and tearing in her free time the way she was going at it. Instinct and the thrill of the hunt subsided and thoughts began to resume their platonic rants. The female seemed a bit odd to him. From taking an unconventional approach during the hunt and risking injury on his part, either she was really hungry or just a little unrefined. As a loner he had no expectations, other than a short exchange of names and compliments once dinner was over. In the darkness however, the definite texture of blood was all over her fur. A bit of table manners never hurt anyone, especially with tracking bears toward you with that rank smell. Diacus actually stared at the wolfess destroying her food. He subconsciously stopped eating just to stare and wonder. This is art? Eyes drifted to the sound of the other wolf he had sensed before. He was growling at him, and this confused Diacus. Born in a group of darks and then living in a group of lights, Diacus could only tell the difference in their actions. All wolves smelt bloody at some point, and detecting constant characteristics of light or dark was something he was not born with. Still right now he was not going to stop and chat. That wolf didn’t participate, so Diacus would continued his meal before it was lost in the bottomless pit of the female.

Asianna's snout came out of the carcass at the sound of a snarl ... she'd rip the head off that dumbass brute if he was trying to steal her kill. Instead, she found her newest pack member howling and barking at the male who'd invaded on her hunt and helped to bring it down. Good and bad feelings twisted through her gut at supersonic speeds. But at least she was no longer acting like a crazed, starving monster ... now she was a pissed off, bloody, crazed monster. Asianna leaped over the dead deer and loose a feirce snarl, stopping both brutes. Infurno ... where the fuck were you when I was hunting that goddamn doe? 'eh?! Her head whipped around to look at the other brute, by his former actions he wasn't a half bad hunter, but obviously not a dark. She guessed a light, a powerful light at that ... there were so few in the world she found herself examining him more than she would the regular stranger.
She gave each a warning snarl before turning to the male she didn't know, giving him a thorough once over before opening her maw to speak, rich deep tones spilling forth at her will, What are you cursed, bitch? Where are you from? And whose path do you follow on those pretty little paws?" Her crown was thrust high in the air, as was her tail, a form superiority over both these little cocks. Afterall, to the best of her knowledge, not only was she the female in this trio, but she was the only alpha, and the alpha of the Hitogoroshi Kawa at that. As far as she was concerned, she was above them.

The wolfess seemed to explode into an angered frenzy and the grey furred wolf shot his head up to all the excitement. She was displeased with the male, and though her relation to him was in question, Diacus thought of him as some associate to her. Diacus would ignore whatever chastising she had for the wolf because it simply wasn’t his business. Still when she had turned to Diacus with a look of hatred and studied him with disgust Diacus thought differently. He furrowed his brow at the aggressive and confrontational behavior the wolf expressed, but she might be one of those short tempered females had had heard of. Diacus stood his ground and straightened his posture before the wolfess. He would not be intimidated by a childish outburst because an unknown had to help bring down a kill and not her colleague. “I would suggest that you correct your tone to me, miss.” Authority boomed from his throat as he kept his eyes on the two of them. “It would be a shame to make a potential friend a foe.”
Ears upright and hackles spiking his fur from his surprise, his form was on guard but not with an overt dominant display. His orderly words would display that for him and give him a commendable air. If only these wolves were light. He still could not tell, but if he glanced at the eyes long enough he would have been able to tell of hidden bloodlust. Though it wouldn’t have been too hard to tell by the deer’s blood all over the wolfess. “I walk my own path as to my name, Alpha Diacus. And my lands are the ones that reside under the name Kaika Akegata.” The other wolf’s supremacy was all show. But to Diacus it did not make her appear as someone to be feared, but of someone to be pitied. To loose control is a shame, and one must keep themselves calm and collected at all times. “Now since I’ve cursed you with my name, why don’t you bless me with yours.” A disapproving, stern frown was on his face. He thought after a nice hunt he’d be able to enjoy a meal and have a short chat, but he guessed he had to wait for that.

Inferno's black ear's bolted up at the sound of Asianna's upset voice, he tucked his tail under his body. I was, uhhhm, standing gaurd?" He trailed off lamely, not really thinking excuses would help. He strode towards the others, and stood near Asianna, the lighter still ignoring him. "Diacus." Inferno coughed slightly and gazed at the whiter brute, who was STILL ignoring him, even after his wild entrance. He snarled harshly at the other male.

Asianna rolled her eyes at Inferno, choosing that moment to let loose of her sanity and resolved to give him a good throttling later. He deserved it. The alphess focused her attention on the obviously, 'lighter' brute, examing him with a fighter's eye.
