“Has a lean and hungry look.
He thinks too much, such men are dangerous.
Seldom he smiles, and smiles in such a sort as if he mocked himself and scorned his spirit.
Such men as he be never at hearts ease
Whiles they behold a greater than themselves,
And therefore are they very dangerous.”

Had he known the story he would have licked the very rocks that lined his environment. For now he was simply searching for another creature to speak to. He was weary. For Endra chatted with him all day, and her voice was giving him a headache.
You are tired love, why don’t you rest?
I do not need rest, my love… you know what I need. But it is best not to talk of it right now. his thoughts tried to stifle the noise in his head and he tried to focus on walking on the rocks at his paws. Nimble yes, but only because he paid attention to his surroundings. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have gotten so high up. It wasn’t too high actually. He had no plans of reaching the top. He even questioned why he wandered north instead of east or west. Wolves wouldn’t hang out on a mountain.
Wolves do not lurk in rock crevices, love. Rest. Be easy. Savion sighed and propped himself on a smooth area of dirt and free from rocks. The land wasn’t too spectacular from his perch, and unfortunately it let his mind wander.
Rest and hunt later. I can tell that you are hungry. He licked his lips, trying to keep off any drool that might have appeared. He was hungry for any game, but would prefer if a wolf happened to chance by. Yet he did wish to sleep. His wandering had brought him no prize.
You know he will dare you to make a move if one comes by… the voice said in a warning tone. Savion was quite through her lecture. I’d suggest slumber until nightfall. Then you may search for… natural prey.
I asked you specifically not to talk about this.
You implied it, but no. You did not say specifically. He growled and fidgeted uncomfortably. Sleep, my love. Rest. It will do you no harm. A shaky, deep sigh came from his muzzle and he lay down. He rested his muzzle on his paws and stared out from his viewpoint. Then slowly his eyes began to close as the voice began to croon a lullaby.
